Millinos of vehicles have been recalled by the company amidst reports that the accelerator pedals on several models are sticking in positions that are near the floor boards, and this dangerous defect has led to several injuries and reported deaths around the country. When auto accidents occur that involve several vehicles, it can be extremely difficult to piece together what occurred, what led to the accident and who could possibly be at fault for any injuries suffered. Hit-and-run accidents are a serious problem anywhere, and that problem is only made worse when drivers accused of such conduct allegedly had alcohol in their systems at the time of the incidents. There have now been two such alleged occurrences in the area in recent days, including one in which two people were killed and another in which the alleged driver fled on foot and was struck by a vehicle after two hit-and-run accidents.

Driving under the influence of alcohol or any other intoxicant is always a bad decision, and such conduct only increases the risks involved not only for that driver but for anyone else who is sharing the road at that time.
