"Metro Police are investigating an injury accident near Flamingo Road and Decatur Boulevard that left a suspected drunk driver in critical condition after he ran from a collision. The man was struck by a car while running away, police said.Metro Police spokesman Jay Rivera said officers received a report at 1:12 p.m. of a hit-and-run crash. Rivera said the victim of the hit-and-run followed the car and witnessed the man hit another vehicle nearby."
Meanwhile, the Las Vegas Sun followed up on the other hit-and-run situation from earlier in the week:
"A 19-year-old woman suspected of driving drunk and killing two people on Tuesday appeared in Henderson Municipal Court for an arraignment on misdemeanor charges related to a hit-and-run crash that occurred minutes before the fatal collision.
Anita Mann appeared in court on Wednesday via a video link before Municipal Judge Diana Hampton. She pleaded not guilty to hit-and-run and failure to render aid charges and requested a speedy trial."
