According to police, this fatal Las Vegas auto accident occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Lake Mead Boulevard about four miles east of Los Feliz Street. The vehicle that crossed the line and that was carrying passengers collided head-on with a Chevrolet Blazer that was headed east, or in the opposite direction of the other vehicle. Police have yet to determine why this driver crossed these lines, but one official offered the possibility that the driver was attempting to pass another vehicle.
Tragically, the driver of the vehicle in question and an adult woman passenger who was sitting in the front seat with him were killed. Two children who were sitting in the back seat, whose ages are 5 or 6 years old and 4 months old, were injured but are expected to survive. The driver of the Chevrolet Blazer was taken to the hospital and was reportedly in stable condition.

Additionally, it is possible that the driver of the Chevrolet Blazer has legal rights and options that need exploring if it's determined that the driver of the other vehicle was at fault for this incident. If a legal claim was successful, it could bring a damages award that compensates the injured man for medical expenses, property damage, lost income and other types of compensation.
