When someone consumes alcohol and then gets behind the wheel of a vehicle, that person is placing anyone who may be affected by his or her conduct in a position of extreme and unreasonable danger. Tragically, police suspect that alcohol was a factor in a possible Las Vegas DUI accident that occurred over the weekend that took the life of a man. A driver was arrested after the crash, and he was allegedly driving in the wrong direction down a highway.

Anyone who spends any time driving near the Strip understands that pedestrians are constantly in the area. As a result, motorists are expected to be ready to avoid them so that injuries and fatalities can also be avoided. If something does go wrong and a Las Vegas pedestrian accident occurs, the driver involved in the crash is required to remain in the scene. Unfortunately, that did not occur this morning when a pedestrian was killed in a Las Vegas hit-and-run accident on the Strip.

When people are involved in Las Vegas pedestrian accidents, there are many different types of injuries that someone who had been traveling on foot can suffer as a result of the crash. Perhaps one of the most severe and most difficult to overcome is a traumatic brain injury. Unfortunately, it's possible that a woman suffered that type of trauma as a result of a Las Vegas pedestrian accident that occurred last night. Police are continuing to investigate the situation.

When two vehicles collide in a Las Vegas car accident, the situation obviously becomes extremely dangerous for anyone involved with the crash. However, when several vehicles become involved in a larger crash, the situation can quickly spiral out of control and lead to total disaster. While not much is yet known with regards to a multi-vehicle Las Vegas car accident that occurred this morning, what is known is that at least two people were injured and transported to a nearby hospital. Police are continuing to investigate the situation.

Drivers in and around Las Vegas need to be constantly vigilant for pedestrians, as people are out walking around at all hours of the day and can appear at almost any time. When Las Vegas pedestrian accidents occur, motorists involved in these crashes need to remain on the scene for many reasons. Unfortunately, that's allegedly not what happened on Friday when a pedestrian was injured in a Las Vegas hit-and-run accident. The driver was arrested soon after the crash.
According to the authorities, this Las Vegas hit-and-run accident occurred on Friday evening at jus after 6:45 p.m. A man was attempting to cross the street at the intersection of Mountain Vista Street and Indios Avenue. As he did so, he was hit and seriously injured by an unidentified driver. The driver attempted to flee the scene of the crash but was later arrested for his role in the crash. None of the names of those involved were released and the pedestrian was rushed to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
First and foremost, we'd like to offer our thoughts and our hopes for the man who was injured in this Las Vegas pedestrian accident. We also hope that the police investigation leads to a fair and a prompt result. In addition, this Las Vegas hit-and-run accident will now become part of the overall statistics regarding Nevada pedestrian accidents. Every year, hundreds of people are injured in these crashes and nearly 50 people are killed.
It seems possible that the man involved in this Las Vegas hit-and-run accident will face serious criminal charges. It's also possible that he could face a Nevada personal injury lawsuit if the injured pedestrian decides to initiate such a filing. If he does and the case is successful, the plaintiff could be awarded damages that compensate him for his medical costs, his lost income and his pain and suffering.
