Driver Arrested After Fleeing Scene of Las Vegas Hit-and-Run Accident That Injures Pedestrian

Drivers in and around Las Vegas need to be constantly vigilant for pedestrians, as people are out walking around at all hours of the day and can appear at almost any time.  When Las Vegas pedestrian accidents occur, motorists involved in these crashes need to remain on the scene for many reasons.  Unfortunately, that's allegedly not what happened on Friday when a pedestrian was injured in a Las Vegas hit-and-run accident.  The driver was arrested soon after the crash.

According to the authorities, this Las Vegas hit-and-run accident occurred on Friday evening at jus after 6:45 p.m.  A man was attempting to cross the street at the intersection of Mountain Vista Street and Indios Avenue.  As he did so, he was hit and seriously injured by an unidentified driver.  The driver attempted to flee the scene of the crash but was later arrested for his role in the crash.  None of the names of those involved were released and the pedestrian was rushed to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
