Investigation Into Fatal North Las Vegas Pedestrian Accident Reveals That Driver Did Not Slow Down

Last week, a horrific and fatal North Las Vegas pedestrian accident occurred that involved a 78-year-old female driver and three little girls who were hit in a crosswalk.  The collision was violent and one of the girls was killed while two others were seriously injured in the crash.  The police have been investigating this crash since it occurred, and they recently released a fact that they have uncovered.  According to the police, the driver involved in this crash did not attempt to hit the brakes before the collision. 

According to the authorities, this fatal North Las Vegas pedestrian accident occurred one week ago today when the driver mentioned above plowed into a group of three girls who were attempting to cross Camino Eldorado near Tropical Parkway in a crosswalk.  The woman approached the intersection and she apparently did not stop until she had driven nearly 200 feet after the impact.  Two of the girls who were hit were thrown for approximately 80 feet, while the third girl rolled up onto the hood and remained there for more than 140 feet before the driver slowed enough for her to fall off.  No charges have yet been filed in response to the crash.
