Christopher D. Burk, Esq.

Christopher D. Burk, Esq. is an attorney interested in protecting the "little guy" in society. He is not afraid of taking on the powerful insurance companies or the casinos which often try to avoid liability or that try to pay less than a reasonable amount to the everyday citizens who are harmed by their or their insured’s negligence. You will be a priority in Mr. Burk’s practice.

Mr. Burk was born in Ely, England during a time in which his father served abroad as a civilian in the United States Air Force. Mr. Burk was raised in Beavercreek, Ohio (a suburb of Dayton). As a youngster, he enjoyed playing soccer, basketball and wrestling. He went to undergraduate college at The Ohio State University, graduating with Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Political Science and Communication. He was Vice-President of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. Mr. Burk was a regular volunteer for the Special Olympics and Ohio Cancer Research.

While attending The Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California, he was elected Student Body President, he was appointed to the faculty selection committee, the diversity committee and he competed in several regional and national mock trial competitions. Mr. Burk interned for the Alternate Public Defender’s Office all three years he attended TJSL. In addition, Mr. Burk was also elected as the National Vice-Chair (SBA) for the American Bar Association – Law Student Division wherein he was elected by his fellow Student Body Presidents to represent them in national and regional ABA meetings. It was an incredible honor for Mr. Burk and one that has assisted his drive and determination to this day.

He is currently a member of the Nevada Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before the Court of Nevada and the Court of Arizona. He has also recently passed the California Bar Exam and is waiting for admittance from the State Bar of California. Mr. Burk has been a Big Brother for the Las Vegas Chapter of Big Brothers/Big Sisters for 4 years now. His little brother, Taylor, and he, enjoy spending time participating in sports, going to movies and (of course) playing the Wii. In his spare time, Mr. Burk enjoys working out, playing soccer and spending time with his friends.

• Christiansen Law Offices. Las Vegas, Nevada. (2007-2008) - Christopher primarily practiced plaintiff personal injury, criminal law, federal law and contract law.
• Bonne Bridges Muller O’Keefe & Nichols. Las Vegas, Nevada. (2007) – This was an insurance defense firm where Christopher primarily defended doctors, hospitals and casinos in civil litigation.
• Zimmerman & Associates, Las Vegas, Nevada. (2004-2007) - This is a construction defect firm where Christopher representing homeowners, real estate developers, subcontractors and general contractors.
