Man Rear-Ended and Killed in Las Vegas Motorcycle Accident

According to the authorities, this fatal Las Vegas motorcycle accident occurred on Friday night at just before 9 p.m.  An unidentified 42-year-old Las Vegas man was stopped on his motorcycle for a red light at the intersection of Sahara Avenue and Grand Canyon Drive.  As he waited for the light, the 36-year-old driver from Arizona failed to stop his Dodge pickup truck as he approached from behind.  The resulting collision sent the motorcyclist flying over the car in front of him before he landed on the windshield of another vehicle.  He was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead.
