According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the latest fatal Nevada motorcycle accident occurred yesterday afternoon along Interstate 15 about 50 miles north of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The group of motorcyclists that included Lee had stopped along the side of the road. Suddenly, a large truck clipped the group of motorcycles, and Mr. Lee was killed as a result of the impact. He was 47 years old. No charges have been filed in this incident, but the investigation continues.
First, we'd like to send our condolences to the family, friends and the fans of Mr. Lee. He was a well-known musician and this loss will be difficult to handle for those who were close to him. In addition, this Nevada motorcycle accident will only add to the overall statistics regarding these crashes in the state. Every year, approximately one person every week is killed in a Nevada motorcycle accident, and those numbers have been steady for several years.
Anyone who visits Nevada has legal rights, and those rights include the ability to file a Nevada wrongful death lawsuit if a driver was negligent and this negligence caused the death. If that was the case here and a successful action was filed, it could award Mr. Lee's family with damages that compensate them for medical, funeral and burial costs as well as lost income and other forms of damages.
If you have lost someone you love in any type of accident where negligence, recklessness or intentional conduct was involved, seek the help of Nevada wrongful death lawyers who have been fighting successfully for the rights of grieving families for many years.
