According to authorities, this Las Vegas motorcycle accident occurred just after 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday when a motorcycle and a larger vehicle collided at Cheyenne Avenue and Tenaya Way in the northwest valley. The other vehicle involved was a Honda Civic, and even though it's a small model it will still generally lead to serious damage when it collides with a motorcycle. Police did not release the name of the motorcyclist involved and the severity of the injuries suffered were not specified.
First and foremost, we'd like to offer our hope that the motorcyclist who was injured is able to recover quickly and get back into life's routine, and we also hope that a definitive cause to the crash is identified soon. In addition, this Las Vegas motorcycle accident will now become part of the overall statistics regarding Nevada motorcycle accidents. Every year, approximately one person every week is killed in this type of a crash somewhere in the state.
Clearly, more facts would need to be revealed before fault could be determined in this Las Vegas motorcycle accident. If it turns out that the driver of the Honda was at fault, the motorcyclist could file a Nevada personal injury lawsuit against that driver. If such a claim was filed and was successful, it could lead to an award of damages that compensate the motorcyclist for medical costs, lost income and pain and suffering.
If you or someone you love has been injured in this manner, you need to seek the help of Las Vegas motorcycle accident lawyers who have been holding those responsible for inflicting this type of harm accountable for many years.
