When auto accidents occur that involve several vehicles, it can be extremely difficult to piece together what occurred, what led to the accident and who could possibly be at fault for any injuries suffered.  Such a situation seems to have played out over the weekend on the Las Vegas Strip, where three cars were involved in a collision.  Initial reports indicated that one woman was critically injured.

According to the Las Vegas Sun:

At about 4:10 a.m., a Chevrolet Cobalt struck the curb at the southeast corner of the intersection of South Las Vegas Boulevard and East Wynn Boulevard. The Chevrolet Cobalt became airborne and hit two vehicles – a Chevrolet Malibu and a Lincoln Navigator limo – that were stopped at a signal on Wynn Boulevard, facing West.

The Chevrolet Colbalt then rolled onto its side, and a passenger was ejected from the car, police said.

The driver of the Chevrolet Malibu, 58-year-old Karen Torian of Las Vegas, was transported to UMC with critical injuries. The passenger in the Malibu, 28-year-old John Carlo of Staten Island, N.Y., was not injured."
