Ronny Scott Hoffman, 38, was arrested on one count of felony coercion and three counts of open and gross lewdness, a gross misdemeanor.

The victim, a female student, accused Hoffman, a French teacher, of fondling her in a women's bathroom at the school in October or November of 2007, according to his Las Vegas police arrest report. The academy is a public magnet school in downtown Las Vegas that focuses on performing and visual arts and international studies.

Hoffman denied the incident took place, the report states. He did say he hugged the girl once and that "maybe when he had hugged her he had felt the side of her breasts as his hands went behind her back," according to the report."
