Victims in Fatal Las Vegas Car Accident Identified

The people who were killed were identified as Maurice Goldberg, 80, who was the driver of the Ford Focus in the Las Vegas car accident .  His passenger who was also killed was identified as 87-year-old Margot Carra.  According to police, the accident occurred on Monday just before 2:30 p.m.  Mr. Goldberg was driving his vehicle in a southbound direction on Mountain Vista toward Vegas Valley Drive when he lost control of his vehicle for some reason.  As a result, the car struck a wall on Mountain Vista, clipped a stop sign at the intersection with Vegas Valley Drive, moved across four lanes of traffic on Vegas Valley Drive and came to rest after striking another wall.
