Woman Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident

"A woman is dead after two vehicles collided and rolled over in the south valley Wednesday afternoon.

Nevada Highway Patrol trooper Chelita Rojas said the Chevrolet HHR and Chevrolet Silverado collided on Las Vegas Boulevard south of the Las Vegas Beltway around 4 p.m.

A female passenger in the HHR was killed. The driver of the pickup was taken to University Medical Center. His condition was not released. The driver of the HHR and a child in the back seat also were taken to UMC in unknown condition.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation."
