Nevada law generally gives you two years to file an injury lawsuit (NRS 11.190(4)(e)), though different deadlines and exceptions can apply, including that the period does not run while the injured person was under 18 or insane when the claim accrued (NRS 11.250), and critical surveillance footage can go much sooner: the state gaming surveillance standards require a licensed casino to keep the recordings they cover for a minimum of seven days until April 3, 2027 and fifteen days after that, and a property may overwrite footage once that minimum passes. Send a written preservation request immediately, before the evidence is gone.
Can I handle this case from my home state?
Mostly, yes.
